Sam would have become an infantry officer (with the Gurkhas in the Indian army) if life had played out the way he’d hoped. However, a failed medical test made that career impossible. So, he joined advertising - to plan campaigns, strategies, tactics, and marshal resources in a completely different environment.
Sam’s marketing communications experience has been built entirely in emerging markets. He has worked on several international brands and multinational clients; and held regional responsibility and led multi-disciplinary teams across borders in CEE.
He resigned a salaried job and set up an independent branding and communications consultancy - Icons & Images - in April 2009. He’s worked with AXN, Blizoo, Chello Central Europe, Da Vinci Learning, HBO, and leading FMCG companies.
So far, so good.
